About the Owner

Hello and welcome.  I am Patty of How Sweet It Is.  I grew up in a large family from New Jersey where music and creativity were shared by all of us.  My love for anything artistic is what lets me breathe.  My husband Augie and I relocated to Florida over 30 years ago where we enjoy everything this beautiful state has to offer.  We share this life with our 2 beautiful daughters, Casey and Samantha, now adults.  They made me realize no creativity is bigger than my love for them.

I created this business 20+ years ago as a stay-at-home Mom.  I began by creating Custom Decorated Cookies.  This allowed me the time for my family while being able to be creative as well.  Through a request from a friend, I began creating Desserts for a few family owned restaurants in the Treasure Coast area.  I continued that journey for a few years creating confectioneries for many throughout the area.  I became a cake decorator for Publix for a few years before meeting Dawn from Serene Events.  Dawn asked me to collaborate with her for some of her Wedding clients.  Through continued collaboration and referrals my business has grown to a licensed and insured, full-time Wedding and Event Dessert Caterer.

With the help and support of my family, I am now honored to offer Wedding Cakes, Specialty Cakes, Dessert Tables, and Decorated Cookies all customized to your personalities and celebrations.  Offering a variety of flavor, dessert and decorative options allows you to elevate your events, compliment your celebrations and spoil your guests for any occasion.  It is my pleasure to help you create a delicious experience.
